Daniel Olivas

Director of Animation Resources

Daniel Olivas has built a career in Stop Motion Animation animating on series such as Robot Chicken, Marvel’s MODOK, Storybots, and Santa Inc. He was born in San Diego and attended UC Davis for Art Studio & Film Studies, and received his MFA at UCLA in Animation.

He is currently teaching FTV 188A – Stop Motion Animation at the UCLA Animation Workshop, in addition to managing the Animation resources in Melnitz.
