Connor Bland

Connor Bland is an aspiring character animator and filmmaker, who received his B.F.A. in Animation from DePaul University before coming to UCLA’s Animation Workshop. His long-term goal is to fulfill a career in character animation, and even direct his own films. Most importantly, being able to empathize with humans through animation, storytelling, and acting is how he wishes to have an influence on the world.

Although he has a strong passion for animating and creating short films at UCLA, he also has experience editing for student shorts. One in particular being screened at the 2017 Cannes Short Corner, titled ’The Spaceman’. Other passions/hobbies include basketball and playing the piano.
