2026 FALLING LIZARD WEEKEND
Please join us!
Participating workshoppers from past and present gather together for a weekend of animating! Friday evening is spent brainstorming and choosing the theme of an animated short film, while Saturday and Sunday are spent animating with friends and food. The final film is screened at a later date.

Followed by food & drinks; boarding & pitches; fun & games & animation…
SATURDAY, JANUARY 30th: Go time! (Production)
SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 1st: (or sooner): Race to the Finish! (Turn it in by 11:59 PM)
If you have work due for 481C, 489B, or other courses: Feel free to do a Lizard project that encompasses your existing work, so you can join in the fun without slipping behind on deadlines or production schedules.
If you’re in good shape on your film, you might use the weekend to try something completely different.
Collaborations are also encouraged!
Falling Lizard Weekend is a great time to work collaboratively with your peers, to meet & mingle with alumni, and to put out & take in some creative energy!
