Kate Isenberg is an animator, writer, and musician. After getting her bachelor’s degree from Harvard’s English department, she worked in journalism and released two albums of original folk-pop songwriting. Her original comic series (“Stewball,” about a bipedal horse with an existential dilemma) was the springboard for her thesis at UCLA. The film, called “Dear Death,” won a Matt Groening Production Fellowship in Animation and a grant from the National Association of Theatre Owners of California/Nevada.
